Multimodal Component Introduction
Hi everyone, my name stefenie Cunningham, and I’m currently studying to become an early childhood/ primary educator. I’m passionate about creating and engaging inclusive supportive learning environments for all children.
A little about me, outside of my studying and working I enjoy, going Camping, Hiking, FWD and Being outdoors, I often tend to be inspired by outdoor nature and intend to include it all around the classroom through art and sensory.
I’ve always wanted to be a teacher because I believe education is a fundamental part of shaping not only knowledge and information but also confidence and curiosity and I've always hounered, respected and cherished the relationships I have made with children in the past and want to continue making these in the classroom.
I’m excited to work in the early childhood education setting, especially because it is a critical and important stage for children’s development, and I want to help support that development and growth


When it comes to educational technology, I believe it has incredible potential if it is being used effectively, Tools like interactive whiteboards, learning apps and learning platforms can help to transform the learning into something hands-on and more accessible. I am aware of the challenges and importance of balance especially with the screen time. I hope to keep learning about how to use technology with the intention to support children’s learning outcomes.

Technology skills / knowledge summary
I am confident in using platforms such as google workspace, docs, slides and drive. I am comfortable in creating a digital presentation and basic video editing and I’m able to troubleshoot simple tech issues and assist children and students.
I need to improve my knowledge of safe and ethical use of technology in the childhood education settings. I have limited experience with interactive whiteboards and the classroom management system. I want to develop my knowledge and confidence in selecting age appropriate recourses.
I want to ensure screen time is remaining purposeful and developmentally Appropriate learning, my concern is about accessing the reliable technology in learning environments whilst also balancing digital tool with hands on, play based learning and experiences in the early childhood years.
